Outreach
ASSIST
The Arm for Specialized Services Initiatives and Support (ASSIST) is the outreach division of GHI. Through ASSIST, the institute aims to enhance the wellbeing and quality of life of communities in the MENA region either through direct community-based interventions, or by empowering the NGO sector regionally through its flagship initiative: The Non-Governmental Organizations Initiative (NGOi).

DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE
AUB’s Global Health Institute was formally established on July 19, 2017 to become the first such institute in the Middle East and North Africa region (MENA), and among the very few in the Global South. GHI portfolio focuses on supporting better health, empowering vulnerable populations and strengthening global health systems to contribute towards a better future.
